Hosting works best when whoever runs the server also understands the software on it. IT-Labs hosts websites, web applications and business e-mail for client businesses on a server we run ourselves, and the developer you talk to about your software is the person who looks after where it runs.

Business Web and Email Hosting: what you get
Business hosting is more than disk space. It covers the server, the domain and DNS records, SSL certificates, e-mail that actually reaches inboxes, databases, backups and the updates that keep all of it safe. We set this up and run it for you, so you do not need an in-house person to look after a server.
We run our own multi-client hosting server with a hosting control panel, and have done so for years. It carries websites, business e-mail, databases and SSL certificates for several client businesses. It runs several PHP versions side by side, plus MariaDB or MySQL, Node.js and Docker, so older applications keep working while they are being upgraded and newer ones run on current versions.
Because IT-Labs is founder-led, hosting and development are not separate companies. If a page is slow, a form stops sending or an old application needs a newer PHP, you raise it with one contact who can look at both the server and the code.

Business mail needs SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up correctly on the domain. We configure them and provide webmail, so your messages are signed and your domain is harder to forge.
An old application that needs an old PHP
Upgrading everything at once is risky. We run old and current PHP versions side by side, so the old application keeps working while it is upgraded step by step.
Hosting and developer pointing at each other
When the host blames the code and the developer blames the server, nothing gets fixed. With one contact for both, the cause is found and dealt with.
Certificates and domains that quietly expire
We set up free SSL certificates with automatic renewal and look after DNS records and domain set-up, so the site does not show a warning one Monday morning.
No tested way back after a failure
Nightly backups are only useful if they can be restored. We keep them, harden the server and tell you how recovery would work before you need it.

How the engagement works
It starts with a free consultation. You tell us what you run today: the sites, the applications, the mailboxes and where they sit now. We tell you honestly what would move, what should stay and what risks we see, then send a written estimate. If you are moving from another host, we plan the cut-over so e-mail and the website switch with as little interruption as possible.
After the move we run the server and look after it as part of the arrangement, with changes and fixes handled by the same person who built or reviewed the software. You keep control of your domains and your data. If you later want ongoing care such as patching, monitoring and monthly reports, our care plans cover that.

Common questions
Can you move our website and e-mail from our current host?
Yes. We map what you have, copy the site, databases and mailboxes, test them, and then switch DNS at a time that suits you. We aim to keep interruption small, and we explain the steps beforehand.
Our application needs an old PHP version. Can you host it?
Yes. We run old and current PHP versions side by side on the same server, and we can help you upgrade the application at your own pace. See our PHP modernisation service for that work.
Will our e-mail reach customers?
We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your domain, which is the foundation for good delivery. No one can promise every message will reach every inbox, but a correct set-up removes the most common causes of failure.
Do you host Node.js and Docker applications?
Yes. Besides PHP sites, we run Node.js applications and Docker containers, and we can advise on which fits your project.
Who do I contact when something breaks?
The same person who looks after your software. There is no hand-off between a hosting company and a development company, so we start from the cause instead of from whose problem it is.
How do you charge?
We do not publish prices. After a free consultation we give you a written estimate, so you know the scope and what is included before you commit.
