AI automation consulting and build, for businesses in any industry

AI can now read documents, sort requests and draft replies, but it takes software engineering to make that dependable. IT-Labs brings 25 years of hands-on software and online application work to advising on and building AI-based automation, for any industry, using any AI model or provider.

What it is

AI Automation Consulting: what you get

AI automation consulting is the work of finding which parts of your operation AI can reliably take on, deciding what to build first, and then building it properly. That might be a triage step for incoming requests, a pipeline that reads documents and fills in your systems, or an assistant that answers staff questions from your own policies. The common thread is that the work is repetitive, uses information you already have, and ends with a person who can check it.

We are consultants and builders in one. The person who assesses your process is the developer who builds and runs the result, so the advice stays grounded in what is practical. We are model-agnostic: we choose among any AI model or provider, including models you host yourself, on the evidence of how they perform on your examples, what they cost and where your data is allowed to go. And where a plain rule or script is the better tool, we say so.

IT-Labs is moving from a traditional online-applications company to an AI development and automation company. The software foundation stays, because AI automation still depends on integration, security, deployment and support. What changes is the headline: helping businesses put AI to work, safely, on real processes.

Problems we solve

Typical problems this solves

Skilled people doing routine reading and typing

Staff spend hours reading emails, forms and PDFs and keying the contents into other systems. AI can do the first pass for a person to confirm.

Requests piling up in a shared inbox

Support and operations requests need sorting, tagging and routing before anyone can act. A triage step can do that and draft a reply for approval.

Answers locked in old documents

Policies, procedures and past cases exist but are hard to search. Internal knowledge search answers with sources and respects who may see what.

Not sure where AI fits, or whether it is safe

Many teams do not know where to start or what could go wrong. An assessment gives a short, ranked list and the guardrails each item needs.

A demo that never reached production

We take pilots and prototypes to a dependable system, with logging, fallbacks, review steps, monitoring and a way back.

Deliverables

What we deliver

  • A written assessment: where AI fits, where it does not, and a ranked shortlist
  • A scoped pilot with success criteria agreed before building
  • Integration with your email, documents, databases and business systems
  • Human review steps, access control and an audit trail of what the AI saw and did
  • Evaluation on your own examples, so quality is measured and not assumed
  • Running support: monitoring, cost control, updates and handover documentation

Engagement

How the engagement works

It starts with a free AI automation consultation. You describe the work and the systems involved; we ask questions, tell you honestly what looks suitable and what does not, and follow with a written estimate. You can also try the readiness checklist on our AI automation page before you get in touch.

Most engagements then follow the same loop: a short assessment, a pilot on one workflow with the AI running alongside the manual process, integration into your systems, and then operation. A person stays in the review loop until you trust the results, and you decide when to widen the scope. You keep the code and choose where it runs. We make no promises about savings or accuracy in advance; we measure on your examples and show you the results.

Questions

Common questions

Which AI model or provider do you use?

Whichever fits the job. We work with any AI model or provider, including models you run on your own servers, and we design the automation so the model can be swapped later without rebuilding it.

Will AI replace people in our team?

We keep a person in control of anything that matters. The aim is to take over repetitive reading, sorting and typing so your people can spend their time on judgement. What you do with that time is your decision.

Is our data safe?

We design for minimum data exposure: access control, an audit trail and a choice of where models run, including on your own infrastructure. Your data stays yours. We do not claim formal certifications; we apply careful, standard engineering practice.

We are not a technology company. Can we still do this?

Yes. You need to know your work, not AI. We handle the technical side and explain the choices in plain English.

How is this different from your AI and LLM integration service?

AI and LLM integration is the building block: adding a specific AI capability to a system. AI automation consulting is wider: deciding what to automate, building it end to end and operating it. We use the integration work inside it.

How do you charge?

We do not publish prices. After a free consultation we give you a written estimate for the assessment and the pilot, so you know the scope before you commit.

Tell us what you need built

Describe the problem, the system or the idea. We offer a free initial consultation and a written estimate, and you will talk directly to the developer who would build it.
